User Guide

This guide is for users setting up and running TrioCFD simulations. It is organised into three complementary sections:

• How-to Guides — practical, task-oriented guides on writing a TrioCFD data file: building a dataset for typical situations (mesh, physics, schemes, post-processing) and recommendations on the choices to make.
• Physical Models — the physics behind the models implemented in TrioCFD (turbulence, multiphase, fluid-structure interaction, sensitivity): governing equations, closures and best practices.
• Numerical Methods — the numerical methods specific to TrioCFD (Front-Tracking, implicit steady-state schemes, …), with pointers to the TRUST documentation for the generic schemes and solvers the platform provides.
